As part of this expansion, Imagineear is delighted to welcome Ajinkya Rahane, the Indian international cricketer and former captain of the Indian national cricket team, as its Sports Ambassador in the region. Having played international cricket for over a decade, Ajinkya has expertise and deep connections within India's sporting and broader institutional landscape, and he will play an important role in supporting Imagineear’s growth objectives in the region.

About Ajinkya Rahane
Ajinkya Rahane is one of India's most prominent international cricketers and the former captain of the Indian national Test team. Renowned for his classical technique and tactical acumen, Rahane famously led India to a historic, underdog Border-Gavaskar Trophy victory in Australia in 2020/21. He has scored over 7,000 international runs across all formats, including 12 Test centuries – notably achieving nine of them in challenging foreign conditions. In recognition of his outstanding contributions to Indian sport, he was awarded the prestigious Arjuna Award in 2016.
