Imagineear brings Group Tour System to the Palazzo Reale in Milan, Italy

Further expanding our project portfolio in Italy, Imagineear was chosen by Ad Artem to provide the ideal hardware solution to enhance its guided tour offering at the temporary exhibitions ‘Picasso the Foreigner’ and ‘Ugo Mulas’ at The Palazzo Reale in Milan.

Ad Artem is the official provider of educational services for both shows and Palazzo Reale hosts many of Milan’s major cultural exhibitions. Produced by Marsilio Arte, in collaboration with the Picasso Museum in Paris and the National Museum of the History of Immigration, the exhibition, ‘Picasso the Foreigner’, reflects on the status of the artist and presents one of the greatest artists of the 20th century in a new and little-known guise. With more than eighty works on display, the exhibition aims to explore social themes dear to the painter such as reception, immigration and personal relationships, which he experienced first-hand.

The ‘Ugo Mulas’ exhibition, recounts the inseparable relationship between one of the most important international photographers of the post-World War II period and the place where he chose to live, making the shots of Milan the pivotal theme of the first major retrospective that the city of Milan dedicates to the great photographer.

To ensure that visitors can experience and enjoy the museum’s guided tour offer with maximum clarity and comfort, Imagineear provided 180 of its Group Guide GTS™, lightweight guiding system ideal for use in International group travel environments. With up to 15 hours battery life and weighing only 70g, the GTS™ also features a channel auto locking function and a backlit LCD screen.

“Palazzo Reale is the latest museum in Italy to choose our Group Tour Systems for visitors enjoying guided tour experiences,” said Beatrice Creazzola, Head of New Business Development at Imagineear Italy. “We are proud that thanks to our strong collaboration with Ad Artem, renowned historical sites and museums like the Castello Sforzesco, Museo del Novecento, la Pinacoteca Ambrosiana and now Palazzo Reale have all chosen our solution for the convenience of their visitors and their highly appreciated guides.”
