For the adult tour, our brief was to adopt a traditional interpretive approach – focusing on guided observation and emotionally resonant storytelling.

We created an accessible and insightful narrative that explores the collection’s key works.
 Visitors are encouraged to look at each one closely to find subtle visual details, often with hidden meanings of their own. Interpretation is conveyed with precision and clarity – allowing plenty of space for reflection and discussion.

A concise “Masterpieces” version offers a tightly focused journey through fifteen of the gallery’s most celebrated highlights.

Young visitors experience their own journey, in the company of Hebe, the Goddess of Youth, from Canova’s famous sculpture and Italian intellectual Alessandro Manzoni – stepping nimbly from his portrait by Francesco Hayez. Their dialogue-led exploration is lively, informative, and age-appropriate, helping them connect emotionally with the people, stories and ideas at the heart of each painting.

We oversaw translation of the Italian script into English and French – ensuring each version retained the tone and nuance of the original. Recording and sound design were completed at our EMEA studios by our in-house production team.

Visitors experience the tour using our Piccolo device – discreet, lightweight and comfortable.
