9/11 Memorial Museum
The Profound Experience
Decorative image

Few events in modern history have bent the arc of history as decisively as those of September 11, 2001.

The 9/11 Memorial & Museum is an enduring monument to those who lost lives, and a tribute to the firefighters, police officers and emergency workers who fearlessly rushed towards danger.

Telling stories of sacrifice, courage and loss is an immense responsibility, and the tour includes interviews with first responders, recovery workers, bereaved families, journalists and others who share their first-hand experiences.

Narrated by Robert De Niro, our Witnessing History Tour offers a powerful overview of the day and its aftermath. Discovering History, a children’s version, provides a thoughtful, age-appropriate retelling for younger audiences. Building History explores the roles of architects, recovery workers and preservationists – rebuilding the future while never forgetting the past.

To deliver these stories, we deployed 1,200 Mirage™ multimedia devices, along with bespoke charging trolleys and cabinets - supported by a distribution system we'd purpose-built to handle large crowds.

We also created a bridge video experience linking the Museum to the Memorial Plaza - encouraging visitors to Pause, reflect and remember.
